| OBJECTIVE -
The
objective of this project is to learn how to balance chemical formulas
and
chemical equations and score at least 50% correct on a 25-30 problem test. Caution!! Learning how to balance chemical formulas and equations can give you a serious advantage over your classmates when you take high school chemistry. PROJECT GUIDELINES 1. Read the INDEPENDENT PROJECT GENERAL GUIDELINES first. 2. Complete a project design form and get it signed by your science teacher. 3. Obtain instructions for formulabalancing & equation balancing from your teacher or download the instructions by clicking here. Download some practice problems by clicking here. 4. Make an appointment with your science teacher if you need further explanation or examples of how to balance formulas and/or equations. 5. Take a te st which will include 10 chemical formulas balancing problems, 10 chemical equation balancing problems and 10 combination problems. 6. You may use only your oxidation # chart.
